Learnings from COVID #6: Be Grateful, Be Thankful
If there is ever a time to be grateful, it's surely now, when "things" get taken away. And COVID put a spotlight on restriction of so many simple pleasures we once took for granted.
Now we can see a sunny day and be thankful for it because we get to go outside. Now we see a bird out of our window and we acknowledge it, actually pausing to soak in the memory.
I could go on…there is so much to be grateful for in life, but especially when we compare where we were earlier this year, to where we are today.
In the future, especially as the world opens up, may we truly, deeply enjoy our human experiences. Enjoy every line at the grocery store, eventually going to the movies with friends, kids birthday parties and overcrowded venues.
Every moment matters and for that, BE GRATEFUL, BE THANKFUL!
