black cumin seed oil

Black seed oil comes from black cumin seeds (also known as Nigella sativa). In old Latin, this spice was known as panacea, meaning “cures all”. And boy does it ever!

It’s one of my newest found Super Foods – hosting nearly 100 compounds like amino acids, essential fatty acids, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, potassium and thymoquinone (a uniquely potent antioxidant).

Black cumin seed oil is an immune booster and one that’s been proven to increase natural killer cells by 30%, in just four weeks.

And it’s loaded with anti-cancer benefits – stopping proliferation, metastasis, angiogenesis and causes apoptosis on over a dozen types of cancer – breast, colon, lung, skin, esophageal, pancreatic, ovarian, cervical and leukemia.

Black seed oil stops cancer cells from dividing! Repeat – stops cancer from dividing…and spreading. It stops tumors from forming new blood vessels and causes cancer to die.

This stuff is so remarkable, that in one of his papers (& subsequent books), MD Anderson researcher Dr. Bharat Aggarwal stated, “it could be used as a potential drug candidate for cancer therapy”. That’s a powerful statement. And yet so many of us don’t even know about it!

But now you know!!

Just 1-2 tablespoons, up to twice a day should do the trick. Grinding the seeds are best, but I prefer the oil which you can buy on Amazon and tastes great on salads. Or as a marinade.

Check it out and let me know what you think….

I haven’t seen it in capsules. My only ‘warning’ as with any capsules is to avoid Magnesium Stearate. It’s a binding agent that a lot of capsules have hidden in it and it’s a known toxin. You can read more about it here:

Do you have any thoughts on taking it in capsule form?
