If you are like me, you either have too many perfectly ripe avocados at one time, or none at all. I eat at least ½ of an avocado a day and was seeking another creative way to make good use of my very ripened gems before they went bad. I found it! And it’s a super simple, sweet treat fix!
One large, ripe avocado [organic, or Haas brand]
5 TBSP cacao powder [not to be confused with cocoa powder]
3 TBSP pure maple syrup
- Slice the avocado in half and scrape out contents into a food processor.
- Add the cacao powder and maple syrup and blend until fully incorporated and smooth
You can store in a glass container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Eat a spoonful when you want. YUM!
